Stratis Data Labs builds AI agents, the data pipelines and cloud infrastructure underneath them, and the evaluations that show you how they behave once real users arrive. Founder Kyle Stratis has spent more than a decade turning AI research into shipped products for teams at Microsoft, LogicMonitor, and Koch Industries, and wrote O’Reilly’s book on the Model Context Protocol.
An agent can pass every demo and still pick the wrong tool, make up a tool argument, or hand a user a confident answer that is wrong. None of that throws an exception or shows up in your error rate, so the first report usually comes from a customer.

Kyle ran a five-part MCP workshop series for our AI Lab team and it was an immensely beneficial program for us. Prior to the series we had been building MCP servers based on self-taught principles and whatever we could find online. After the series we are now confidently building MCP clients and servers effectively, evaluating them properly, and now working toward getting MCP Apps into production. Our last session with Kyle landed on the same day the spec went to 2.0, and he took the time to rebuild the session around those changes on the fly. Highly recommend him to any team trying to get serious about MCP.
