Tribe AI

Enterprise Agent Framework Development

Contributed to Foundry, Tribe AI’s internal agent framework, which enterprise clients used to build agentic software quickly across a range of use cases.

Role

Software Engineer on Tribe AI’s internal platform team.

Challenge

Tribe AI needed to push their internal agent framework further so it could better support the forward-deployed engineers and consultants building agentic software for large enterprise clients.

Contributions

  • Documentation Platform: Designed and built a web-based documentation site on the Diataxis framework, with API docs generated from the code, architecture overviews, and how-to guides
  • MCP Server Support: Added support for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, so agents could reach external tools and services
  • File Abstraction Layer: Built a file abstraction that let users work with local and remote files the same way inside agent workflows

Results

Made Foundry better to build on and more capable, which sped up agent development across Tribe AI’s enterprise engagements.
